Storage devices
Thare many type of storage devices
A.      Floppy disks:  you can use them to carry data from one place to another, but they are slow and have a limited capacity.

B.       Hard disks: they are fast and can store much, but we cannot use them to transfer data.
C.      Removable hard disks: you can move data from place to place and also have high capacities, but they do not all conform to one standard and they are not very common.
D.     CD-ROM disks: they are removable and can hold large amounts of data, but  we cannot change information on them. They are also slow compared to hard disks.
E.      Magneto-optical disks: we can write data on to them and have large capacities, we use for a long time, but they are expensive and do not all conform to one standard and not very common.
F.       Magnetic tape: we can use it to store very large amounts of data, but it does not allow random access and tape drive are slow.

G.     USB/flash:  can transfer data from computer to computer and can be carried from place to place , but they also have a limited capacity.
